Live App Scheduled for School Testing at Notre Dame
We are excited to announce another important step forward for Serene. The live version of the app is scheduled to begin testing at Notre Dame School, giving students the opportunity to experience the app in a real-world educational environment.
This testing opportunity has been coordinated with the school’s principal and counselors, whose support has helped make this next phase possible. Their involvement will allow us to introduce the app thoughtfully while gathering meaningful feedback from the people it was designed to support.
Bringing Serene Into a School Environment
Serene was created to provide young people with simple, approachable tools that encourage mindfulness, reflection, and emotional wellbeing.
Testing the app within a school setting will help us better understand how students interact with its features during their everyday routines. It will also give us valuable insight into how Serene can complement the support already provided by educators, counselors, and school communities.
Rather than testing the app only from a technical perspective, this phase will allow us to see how it performs in an environment where students are managing schoolwork, relationships, responsibilities, and the everyday pressures of growing up.

Working With School Leadership and Counselors
The testing process has been coordinated directly with Notre Dame School’s principal and counseling team.
Their guidance is especially valuable because they understand the needs of their students and the realities of supporting mental and emotional wellness within a school community. Working alongside school leadership will help ensure that testing is organized, purposeful, and focused on creating a positive experience for participating students.
We are grateful for their willingness to collaborate with us and help introduce Serene in a thoughtful and supportive way.
Gathering Real-World Feedback
One of the most important goals of school testing is to gather honest feedback from users.
We want to learn which features students find most helpful, whether the app is easy to navigate, and how the overall experience feels during regular use. We will also be looking for opportunities to improve the app before it becomes available to a wider audience.
Feedback may help us better understand:
- Which tools students are most likely to use
- Whether instructions and activities are easy to follow
- How students respond to the app’s design and navigation
- Which features feel most engaging or supportive
- What changes could improve the overall experience
This real-world feedback will play an important role in shaping the next stage of Serene’s development.
An Exciting Step Toward Launch
Scheduling the live app for school testing represents much more than a technical milestone. It is the first opportunity to see Serene being used within the type of community it was created to serve.
Every stage of this project has been guided by the goal of making self-care feel more accessible to young people. School testing brings us one step closer to understanding how the app can support students in practical, meaningful ways.
There may still be adjustments to make and lessons to learn, but that is exactly why this phase is so valuable. Each piece of feedback will help us refine the app and prepare for a stronger launch.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly excited to begin testing at Notre Dame School and to learn from the students, counselors, and school leaders participating in this process.
We are also grateful to everyone who has supported Serene as it has grown from an idea into a live app ready for real-world testing.
We look forward to sharing more updates as the school testing phase begins and we continue moving toward the official launch of Serene.
